Short vignettes for a rich construction narrative
Clunky processes, spiralling costs, and failure to meet climate targets. Canada’s construction industry is crying out for a revolution. Thankfully, Naikoon is leading the charge.
Founded in 1980 by Terry Geluch, Naikoon began life as small town carpenters in Haida Gwaii, a remote archipelago along Canada’s Pacific coast. In 2010, Terry’s son, Joe, relaunched the company, moved it to North Vancouver, and turned Naikoon into Canada's leading experts in mass timber and virtual construction.
"Every day we come to work looking to revolutionise what a construction firm can be."
- Joe Geluch, President, Naikoon
Sharp words for a bold new look
After working with a local design firm on their 2023 rebrand, Naikoon reached out to StoreyBoard to tell the story of their stunning custom homes projects.
The goal was to show Naikoon’s depth of expertise, without repeating the same messaging over and over.
Mass timber; prefabrication; virtual construction; project management; client care; solving complex construction challenges; environmental performance; attention to detail; ability to execute the architect’s vision; awards; testimonials, and of course, all the statistics. It’s a lot to cover.
Less is more
Our approach was to create a collection of easy-to-digest vignettes.
Short, catchy, high-level summaries help skimmers and scanners instantly understand the project. Written storytelling hooks the audience for a deeper read, with technical details sprinkled throughout to convey Naikoon's skill and ingenuity.
The result is a collection of standalone stories that capture only the most important aspects of each build. Together, they form a rich tapestry of narratives to show a pioneering firm building the future of construction.
"We wouldn't have made it to launch day without your support. You made it so easy and it was a big deal to have a copywriter I could trust. You rock."
- Kati Varga, Marketing Director, Naikoon
